Jay Gentile heads up Caffè Nero in the US. Jay brings a deep background in restaurant operations from high end white table cloth to fast casual. With degrees from Northeastern University and Johnson and Wales, he is a trained chef with a great appreciation for simple, high quality ingredients. Prior to joining Caffè Nero he has held positions as Regional Vice President for Au Bon Pain, Executive Vice President of Weathervane Sea Food Restaurants, Vice President of Operations Legal Sea Foods and Regional General Manager Morton’s of Chicago. In all positions Jay was instrumental in growing and establishing the concepts in new markets.
